Molorchus

Molorchus was a poor man who offered hospitality to Heracles at Cleonae. The great man accepted, and used his humble cottage as a pied à terre when enacting his First Labour (The Nemean Lion). Molorchus' name probably relates to his occupation as a labourer, that of a tree-planter, from orchos, 'row of trees' (compare English 'orchard').
