Iasion (or Iasius) was the son of
Zeus (or Corythus) and Electra. He married
Demeter and (possibly later) Cybele. His name seems to have something to do with dealing, since it resembles iasis, 'cure', 'remedy'. Such an interpretation, however, can only be a conjecture since we are not told much about him.
