Nyctimus

Nyctimus also has a 'night' name. He was the son of Lycaon, king of Arcadia, and in fact the only one of his sons to survive Zeus' thunderbolts. But perhaps the 'blackness' of his name indicates that he met his death in some other 'dark' way.

He succeeded his father as king and it was in his reign that the notorious flood sent by Zeus occurred (in which Deucalion and Pyrrha were the only mortals to survive as they had built an ark).
