Pylades

Pylades was the son of Strophius and Anaxibia, Agamemnon's sister. He was brought up with his cousin and close companion, Orestes, and assisted him in most of his adventures and doings, including his murder of Neoptolemus. The first part of his name seems to mean 'gate' (pyle). Could this be the 'gate of Hades'?
