Polymede
Polymede was the daughter of Autolycus and the
mother
of Jason. Her name means 'much cunning', from polys, 'many' and medea, 'schemes', 'cunning'. No doubt she inherited her wiles from her father. Some tales equate her deeds with those of Alcimede.
