Tecmessa

Tecmessa was the daughter of the Phrygian king Teleutas. She became the mistress of Ajax and bore him Eurysaces. Her name seems to come from tecmairomai, 'to judge', 'decree', so that she is an 'ordainer' or even a priestess or goddess.
