Thaumas

Thaumas was an ancient sea-god or Titan (we cannot be quite sure what his functions were), the son of Pontus and Gaia. He married Electra, who bore him Iris and the Harpies. Thauma means 'wonder', 'marvel' so no doubt he was a 'sea wonder'. He rather sketchily features in Hesiod's Theogony.
